This original sketch was inspired by the powerful poem Home by the Somali-British poet Warsaw Shire.

At a time where people on the move are being vilified more than ever, it is reminds us that there is a story behind every journey and we must continue to advocate for safe routes.

Maddy is an artist based in Sheffield who specialises in digital art, using loose lines to form her pieces. Maddy also has spent time in Calais and now volunteers with organisations supporting refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK.
